The workbook and tests contain all the words that students are expected to both read and spell correctly. The spellings have been compiled from the Entry 2 word lists specified by DfE and provided in Appendix 2 of the Functional Skills Entry Level English (Entry 1) Qualification and Assessment Specification.
Workbook tasks include practising spelling the words using the look, say, cover, write method: inserting the correct word into a sentence and composing simple sentences using words in the list.
